Ater Marienbad is a reconstruction of the emotional architecture in Last Year at Marienbad (1961) using the text that describes the physical space in the original screenplay.  The performance  is located at the intersection of the narrative of memory as penned by Alain Robbe-Grillet, and the memory of Alain Resnais’  film as an artifact.
